It means we work with some of the world’s most prominent manufacturers as a complement to their operations. We convert and supply innovative materials and components to them, ranging from advanced composites and plastics, to nonwovens and specialty films. We help make their products possible. But that’s just the beginning of the story.
We believe there is a real energy that exists when people are open, honest, and work together to meet mutual goals. As a company, we thrive on that energy and work to bring it into every product and every project that we touch.
Most importantly, we believe the employee experience is paramount at Web Industries. Join our employee-owners and explore our rewarding culture:
We understand that some people might feel reluctant to reenter the workforce with so many uncertainties surrounding COVID-19. Web Industries has been fully committed to protecting the health and safety of its workers during these unprecedented times. We follow procedures established by OSHA and the CDC to provide as much protection as possible from health and safety risks. As an employee-owned company, our employees are our most important assets, and you can trust us to always do the right thing.
Web Industries knows that health, financial, and lifestyle benefits are an important part of a total compensation package. That’s why we offer a competitive benefits package to all employee-owners, including first-day health benefits to those working 30+ hours per week.
We recognize that our Front Line Supervisors and Managers are our most important driver of performance and engagement. Our Front Line Leadership program provides new and current supervisors and managers with a toolkit of practical skills and competencies to ensure they are prepared with critical people-leadership skills. The goal of the program is for leaders to increase their effectiveness in managing, leading and coaching others, fostering an environment to enable employee engagement, improved performance, and increased employee satisfaction.
Web’s Career Pathways program is a career development process that creates a more effective way to provide feedback and coaching that will help you reach your potential. Its purpose is to facilitate more frequent and meaningful conversations between employees, managers, and peers.
Web Industries is committed to putting people first and that starts with ensuring our employee-owners are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver excellence in everything they do. By blending traditional training with innovative learning and development methodologies, we focus on both smart (technical and business focused) and healthy (self-knowledge and people skills) performance. Building on our innate human drive for mastery, we create opportunities for our employee-owners to satisfy their curiosity, challenging them to learn and grow in both formal and informal settings within Web and beyond.
Critical to the development of many of our employee-owners is On-the-job training (OJT), typically called “hands-on” training. This targeted approach uses existing workplace tools, machines, processes, documents, knowledge and skills necessary for an employee to effectively perform the job. This is typically done on a one-to-one basis providing practice and coaching in the same environment and with the same tools and materials that is required to accomplish the job.
Onboarding our employees is a key process of welcoming, educating, connecting, and acculturating new employees. It helps assimilate our employee-owners into work, the team processes, and into Web’s culture. Our onboarding program is pivotal for both the employee and Web as we work hard to ensure our employees reach their full potential and success. The total onboarding process takes place over a year and provides a mentor and other tools to ensure success is a team effort. We strive to ensure excellence, learning, and fun!
Web employees are eligible for educational assistance to enroll in coursework that will enhance job performance and support career development.

A lot of companies say it, but we really do put our people first. We know that our company benefits when you reach your potential. But you still feel a sense of autonomy in defining your work environment and routines – giving you the freedom to be yourself.
According to the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO), “employee ownership” refers to the ownership of a company, either in part or in whole, by some or all of its employees—generally through a formal employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) offered by the employer. This type of nurturing environment typically results in a very collaborative and transparent culture where everyone is working towards the same goals.
Studies have found that employee-owned companies perform better and grow faster than their non-employee-owned counterparts. For example: In one 10-year study, ESOP companies experienced sales growth at a rate that was 5.4% faster compared with non-ESOP counterparts. Overall, 73% of the companies evaluated significantly improved performance after setting up their employee stock ownership plans.
Ownership provides a strong incentive for employees to work productively. Opportunities for participation enhance productivity by providing an outlet for workers’ ideas and talents.
Our belief is that better ideas and ingenious solutions are the result of people working together in close partnership with common goals. It’s all about relationships. This applies not only to the relationships we have with each other, but also to the relationships we have with suppliers and, most importantly, our customers.
Everyone at Web Industries is working from the same playbook. At the center are our core values which define our guideposts for behavior. READ OUR CORE VALUES
Our business philosophy is grounded in five key principles. They guide the development of our strategies and fuel our ambitions:
We must be relentless in our pursuit of perfection, executing with excellence, working to optimize the value-chain, and continuously reducing costs.
To lead in our markets, all employee-owners have a shared responsibility to learn, grow, and improve.
Our focus is to become an essential supplier to specific market-leading companies by concentrating on high-value engineered solutions.
As employee-owners, we must demonstrate extra care in every aspect of our business – from creating a great solution, to taking an order, providing excellent workmanship, problem solving, and trial manufacturing.
A robust enterprise risk management process is key to addressing the increased risk exposure that comes with new strategies, investment, and growth.
